The wife and I were throwing ideas around on what we want to use for our USA tour when she retires, and the 12 STC by Northstar has really got almost everything we are looking for. Has anyone seen one of these units in the flesh? Can't seem to find a lot of information on it. It's the right weight for Red and a side entry to boot.

Been all through one or two and almost bought one but got a Northstar igloo instead. Ask away

Probably THE BEST factory support of all the TC manufacturers.

I also have a Northstar Igloo. The unit you are looking at is substantially bigger. I recommend absolutely nothing short of a dually.

I second the comment about best factory service and support. The 12STC has been mounted on srw trucks but I would advise a dually which your signature says you have. The 12 it's a great time.

I have 4x 100Ah lithiums. 3 are in the batt compartment under the dinette seat, the 4th is in a custom made box on the floor under the fridge. See my original post for camper pics, solar/battery install, etc.

What setup are running for the batteries? I would think for the ah you ave your running 4 240ah 6 volts? where are the other 2?

I REALLY like the design and it's amazingly similar to the camper I designed years ago and never got around to building. My wife needs more convincing on a TC for our tour rather than something larger. I want to have a 12 STC built to suit, and pull a small enclosed trailer for the MC and other things for extended road traveling.

I kinda like it, I like the side door layouts and slide outs do have their issues. If you buy new and trade up every few years, fine but if you’re gonna keep it they’re trouble.
However, it’s super annoying they did the holding tanks just like the old days, lots of fresh water that you can’t use because there’s nowhere for it to go because for some stupid reason they gave it a tiny grey tank. What’s wrong with these people, haven’t they ever actually used a camper?

Total: ~ 4440

+ clothes, food, toys, tools, stuff ~ 400-500 for 4 people

I see yours looks to setup as I want to with the solar. How much does it weigh ready to camp? Right now our S&S is 4,400 ready to camp with a full water tank.
