Northstar TCs
I am looking at a Northstar 600 SS TC to use on my Tacoma. anybody have any information on them and their quality?

thanks will check it out. the one I found was new and $16,500. the basic unit is about $14,100 so it depends on exactly what options this one has.

- Check out the wet weight of the camper as it relates to the GVW of your Tacoma. I'd also advise you to get a "real" light weight on your truck also.
*Northstar 600SS: dry weight, 1,258 pounds + 17 gallons fresh, 141.8 pounds + 20 pound full propane tank, 20 pounds + battery, 65 pounds + stuff, 500 pounds = 1,984.8 pounds - Quality won't be a problem. Customer support is also second to none. While shopping for a used Northstar I shot some questions to the factory and they were as helpful as if I had just bought the camper new. The used deal didn't work out but I did end up buying my Adventurer new and dealt with Rex from custom configuration to delivery. Just before the warranty period on the converter was up, mine died. I described the problem to Rex and he agreed. I told him I was both willing and capable of doing the install and he shipped a replacement that day. - I have a Northstar 850 which is the bigger brother to what you are looking at. It is a 2006 and has been used a lot. It is still in great shape and my next will be a Northstar also. I can't recommend these highly enough.
