Asked that question a year ago when we bought our unit. After having it a year I'm glad we spent the money. Camper is quiet inside and I think the windows help. More importantly we get much less condensation inside winter camping in the PNW. You can tell because the window in the door is single pane and you can watch it fog up all the time while the other windows are free and clear.
