Every "brand" has quality or build problems along the way.

Folks just feel they need to vent their frustration over what they feel is a poor build, bad quality, ect.

In reality, there is no "perfect" blemish free RV without things breaking or going bad..

It is made with imperfect human hands, made of imperfect materials, it will rust, rot, breakdown and turn to dust eventually over time.

One must take all of this into account when purchasing.

It is a gamble, but so is life, if you don't like taking a little risk then perhaps owning a RV is not for you.

We buy, and eventually deal with the problem things one at a time and eventually all the bugs will be worked out.

Rather than complaining or blasting the manufacturer you need to just get it fixed and move on and enjoy your TIME RVing..

Just like PC's, RV manufacturers use generic parts. So, the difference in quality comes down to the assembly line. And the assembly line comes down to individual workers - some conscientious, but many are not.

This is just my opinion, but my life experience has shown me management, top to bottom, makes the most difference. What sloppy work will management let slide in the interest of profit...

True, but it's good that they do. Some of us want to hear about their problems and what to watch out for. :@

You won't hear any complaints from me about our 2006 Sunline TT which we had for 10 years. However, people did hear complaints about our new 2016 Arctic Fox TT from us. Workmanship during construction was very poor. Quality control is certainly lacking. Get them built and push them out the door.

I have heard the same thing from Airstream owners. Although I have had no first hand experience. Not applicable to me although I did a factory tour years ago, before Thor entered the picture.

:) Hi, Airstream's worst years were when they were owned by Beatrice Foods. Thor made them better, but not perfect.

Name a brand and a few folks will chime in about how bad they are.

When we were looking for a new rig a friend of ours who repairs rvs steered us away from jayco. He has seen many with issues.

. However I feel they have the best floorplans in pop ups over everyone else, I just don't trust them.

Jayco however has a pretty good reputation with only a couple of complaints. I've had 2 Jay Flights and their factory customer service and warranty were exceptionally great.

The 2012 26BH has been a great camper, I've yet to find another camper with the same floorplan anywhere close in features, build quality, and price.

We'll have this camper for as long as we can, so hopefully I won't be looking for a long time. Just very disappointing the Jayco brand has fallen.
