I hope your friends aren't playing tricks on you haha... Had a guy at works always telling everyone he was getting bad gas mileage so his "friends" started adding gas every day. Got the guy up to about 26MPG in his truck...
Then after listening to all of that for a few days they started taking gas out of his truck everyday. He was down to around 4MPG after that.
Then they finally told him what was happening haha...
I get about that much gas mileage when towing my trailer but it is a 4200LB OFF-ROAD POPUP unit. My F150 2010 truck doesn't change much on gas mileage whether it is pulling the POPUP trailer or not thanks to NO WIND LOAD...
Must be the 'ECO-BOOST' motors at play here...
