Our GM HD D/A ordered new has never been more than .1 or .2 MPG difference compared to hand calculated in the over 150,000+ miles it's been driven nor have any others we personally know with GM HD's ever said their's was off either. It's discussed very often between owners and all say their DIC MPG readout is extremely accurate compared to hand calculated!
