Yes, we got them to work correctly by not only going thru some of the wiring, but we also had a brake assembly that was not working correctly, so replaced both on that axle.
And also to that point, one of the things I did in trying to diagnose was at one point one day I could not get that trailer to be recognized at all by the Ford controller. I backed the Nissan up to the trailer, connected it and the brakes showed connected to the Prodigy P2, and seems to be working ( although I could not tow it with the Nissan to tell that way ).
So this comes back round to the OP.....could you connect a different truck to your trailer temporary to see if you get brakes functioning right that way ?
