FWIW, I agree that whenever your trailer rolls it's your responsibility to be sure it's A-OK. But c'mon guys, the OP picks his TT up fresh from a PDI and he is supposed to re-check the tire pressure and valve stems? That's not reasonable. The dealer should have made that trailer A #1 before it left his lot and for him not to do so was not right. The OP had every right to take it back and get it fixed. If the wheels had fallen off on the way home from the dealer is that the OP's fault? Hardly!
