- Redterpos3ExplorerNote to self: don't lock your keys in your running TV when you back up to prepare to hookup late night for an early departure next AM. Fortunately, the awning pole has more uses than just for the awning, shimmied through the slight crack in window I had left to unlock vehicle:S
Note to self: when you are trying to hook up and your trailer won't drop onto the ball when it should, check that you've raised all your stabilizer bars. Hmmmm...why isn't that going down :h - GrandpaKipExplorer II

Really. Tsk, tsk. - punomaticExplorerNote to self: Don't leave a hand of bananas in the cupboard after a trip. Ooooh! What is that smell?

-make sure the ladder is out of the way when bringing in the slide.-
-don't run the slide out the whole way until you've checked to make sure all the cabinet doors are shut and out of the way.
-those with long trailers, make sure that little hump-up in your site where the tongue jack lands is not too high to prevent the trailer from setting level BEFORE you unhitch. You may have to raise BOTH sides of the trailer to get enough clearance to lower the tongue to level. Unless you're going to dig a hole for the "A" frame.
- be sure to consider the sun angle before you final position your trailer and unhitch, especially for late afternoon summer sun. - JanssExplorer III was also thinking how inviting those food scraps outside would be.

Note to self. Always remember to empty your TT kitchen trashcan after trip. It be stankin!!
Better rule yet..
No FOOD "trash" kept INSIDE trailer.
We never leave any food leftovers, trash or even empty beverage containers inside our trailer for any reason while camping. Cuts way down on those unwanted ants and not to mention less chance of leaving anything behind to entice bigger problems like mice to come in and stay.
We keep a small 13 gallon trash container outside and when done prepping food, the scraps are immediately cleaned up and taken outside to the trash container.
Note to self: No FOOD "trash" kept outside the trailer in bear country - Doug33ExplorerNote to self: don't forget to stow away small television sitting on bedroom shelf before leaving. Or just notice the big hole in the wall caused by the television hitting it on the way down. Miraculously the television did not smash on the floor!
- travisejExplorerNote to self: dont leave glass jars of food, especially homemade salsa, on the counter when departing. Stains are still there.
- Doug33ExplorerNote to self - make sure all windows are securely closed before towing, so you don't have to stop on the highway when one of your emergency exit windows is flopping open in the wind.
