Noticed warm water comes out of cold faucets. Why?

Noticed it last night in the shower and today the wife mentioned it after using the bathroom sink and kitchen sink. Hot water faucet delivers good hot water and I haven't messed with anything since we...

My thought too.

If you have an outside shower and shut off the water at the shower head and left the hot and cold valves open, hot water from your water heater can mix with your cold water plumbing.
