There are only 2 connections on backside of WH Tank
Cold Inlet at bottom of tank
Hot outlet at top of tank
No leaking from those connections then that only leaves the TANK
Pinholes/cracks/split
*unless it is an Atwood gas/electric then the electric element is on backside bottom center under a protective cover...gasket could be leaking
Outside compartment is 'sealed' from inside so leaks out there from water supply would not leak inside the RV
T&P Relief Valve, drain plug...possibly combustion/exhaust chamber
