NY and inspection and registration question
I live in NY... i have had my TT for two years now...each year i register it(almost $100.00) and i have it inspected for another fee. I am a seasonal camper and only tow my camper twice per year(april...

Any shop that inspects cars and light trucks can do a trailer inspection.
But.............
Since NY State sets the fee at $6.00 and the inspector has to pull a wheel to check the brakes it's a money losing proposition. I tried 8 shops and heard a lot of excuses why they couldn't inspect my TT. Finally ended up at Camping World to get it done.
I hold off on my registration until the beginning of May. And now I get it inspected in October to avoid the spring rush.
