I prefer to look at numbers this way, IS the TOTAL vehicle sold more than last year? if so great! If not, then we are in another potential depression/recession. The total sold between brands is ALWAYS moving about, depending upon who has what discounts, wants to get rid of inventory, who's is newest design, motor out etc.
Yeah I have been driving GM's for 35+ years, no frods or dogdes, If ALL three manufactures are down in sales, that has been a bad sign! one or the other up or down some, overall total is up, that is a GOOD sign!

To this I would add, was profit made on all those sales ,or were they given away?
Price them low enough and look like a hero ........this year.
yep look up the rebates on Ford , GM/Chevy and Ram and see who had to give up to $10,000 to sell their trucks and who gave $6,000 on HD and $2000 on their 1500 and get back to me Nutz.
BTW I'm still working seven days a week with 12 hour days if I want them, I don't. So someone must be buying our vehicles. Selling the most does not mean your the best, McDonald's out sells Wendy's but I would take a Wendy's burger over a D's any day of the week. Pass that pop corn this way would ya LOL
