OEM hitch with 36" extension?

Seems like I really need a 36" min extension so I may just have to bite the bullet and go with the super hitch but then I also have to get new rear tie downs -- grrr

For the weights you are talking about I would buy a 2 1/2" extension of the length you need and have your local welder incert and weld a 2" solid bar with pin hole for the HITCH end . Add some hooks at the receiver end to attach sway/safety chains and call it good .
