It sounds like mileage is not going to be very important to you. I know I don't care because I drive at most 7,500 per calendar year, nearly all of it towing. Tires will rot in 5 to 7 years. So I expect that I will log, at most, 52,500 miles before it is time to replace the tires again due to age.
I need tires as soon as the new home budget kicks in at year end. I am looking at BFG All Terrain. I saw a tire comparison online and of the dozen or so tires in the comparison they were at the top. My alternative is Wrangler, rated 6. I saw it at Tire Rack.
FWIW the tirerack comparison came out
BFG All Terrain T/A K02
Kumho Road Venture AT51
General Grabber AT 2
Yokohama Geolander A/T G015
Michelin LTX A/T 2
Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar
Yokohama Geolander A/T-S
Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2

This list may be specific to size 275/70-18
I am sure there are other comparisons out there somewhere.
Hope that helps.
