Several other model of Grappler were available. Is the Exo extra wide perhaps, I know spacing between the inside of the tire and the truck is very tight, same as my 1500 was?
I would not trust that. If it fits a diesel it should fit a gas, especially a Ram since they seem to be able to run larger tires without rubbing. I have run that same tire size, I just went up to 285/70/18 on my 2018 Chevy 3500, took a little modification but not much with a -12 offset rim. I don't find that the EXO is any wider than any other tire. You can go to the Nitto website it has the exact tire dimensions on there.
