OM says gcw is 12000 and max 6700 trailer. 5.3 has about 10K lb trailer rating. Im sure this one will pull 10K tho, based on other trucks with similar power specs. not sure I want to tow that much yet.....will need to see how soft etc springs are. As this is first 15 series rig I've owned. Had S-10s toyota/nissan equals, then usually went to a 25+ series if the midgets were to small per say.
Worst case, son has a rancho add on with his 05 and 2" lift he did. Stiffened up rear a lot.
