That aside:
Truck's so new, seems like buying a replacement bumper from the factory might be in order. - VintageRacerExplorerCall a wrecking yard, they'll have a network where they can find your part.
Brian - atreisExplorerSeems to me these folks ought to be able to help you, especially on such a late model truck.
- mrkojeExplorerI would call around to some local shops that sell heavy duty steel bumper replacements. You might be able to get a good deal on a "take off" chrome bumper. You might also put a wanted ad on craigslist. Some folks hold on to them and they collect dust in the corner of the garage after they buy a heavy duty bumper.
If you want to save a few bucks and would be ok with a used one then you might try calling a wrecking yard to see if they one - same body style from 2010 - 2014 however the frame was changed on the 2013 3500 so you might want to investigate if a chrome bumper from a 2010-2012 would fit.
If that doesn't work - you might need to go to the dealer and order one. - dewey02Explorer IIThis??????????

Would you believe you could drive 25 miles with no pin thru the receiver to hold the hitch attached to the truck. Thats how far I drove before my sons travel trailer decided to detach from the truck except for the safety chains. No damage to the trailer and just my bumper. I was using a turn over hitch. One ball on the top and a different size ball on the bottom. The hitch ball stayed attached to the trailer and the trailer skidded on the bottom ball. I probably drug it 1/4 mile skidding behind me before I stopped. I was trying to keep it from hitting the back of the truck.
I retrospect I should have used the manual control for the trailer brakes and I probably could have avoided any damage. Actually, in retrospect I should have put the pin thru the reciever and hitch - romoreExplorer IIConfession is good for the soul.:B Now you will check and double check.
