Its funny reading about oil change intervals on a rv website then look in on a LTL/commercial haulers website threads about oil change intervals using the same LDTs we rv with.
Many serious folks in that type of work are running a 15k quality oil filter change and new quality synthetic oil every other oil change and do so for several hundred thousand miles....with a Dodge/Ram or a GM or a Ford diesel truck.
Now years back before fuel injection and turbo diesels on our LDTs we had very poor engine oils compared to what we have today so a 5k oil/filter change was necessary....back then.
