I prefer to have my service at my local dealer and do that most of the time. I also have used Ford service in several other states on long trips whenever service was due.
On one long trip to the West coast we had reservations at the Petaluma, CA KOA and I knew that would be at a major service interval so I made an appointment with the local Ford dealership. Their van took me back to the KOA and then came back for me after the work was finished. This service interval included the oil and filter change, fuel filters, and transmission flushing. When I picked up my truck it had been totally detailed inside and out. I told them that they thought I would not be able to pay my bill so they had it showroom ready.
