My LBZ wasn't undercoated/oiled and after replacing all the brake lines, tranny lines and fuel lines, the wife wanted me to get the LML oiled. I took it to the local guy, that I've known for over 30yr...

Our guy uses regular motor oil - I can imagine that Fluid Film would cost a whole lot more.
As far as dirt sticking to it - the common practice is to drive around on dirt roads right after it is applied. Apparently stuck dirt is good.
