X2^^!! SO many newbies buy an RV only to find out that their tow vehicle is not up to the job. It's less about "max tow capacity" and more about tow vehicle payload for tongue weight after the TV is fueled and loaded with people and junk. Study up on it before jumping.

As for brand, for the most part, most mid-level RVs have about the same build quality. What's more important is the manufacturer's reputation for customer service and your selling dealer's reputation for service and repair after the sale. Just tend to those issues and find a floor plan that suits you (and your tow vehicle).
