For me it was my child hood dreams coming true. I grew up camping (class 3 motorhome) and my father always told me to work hard and some day you too can treat your family to this luxury. Fast forward 20 years and here we are. We have only been rv owners for about 2.5 years and I love to stare at my set up every time I bring her home (unfortunately she is in storage) so I always look at camping pics on my cell phone when I can.
I have turned my wife into an rv freak and she too loves to go to shows and check out everyone else and their rigs. ( although I am the only one whose Internet search history is all types of camping and rv stuff)
