old school truck and camper
This is an old vanguard tc,made in Richmond,bc,canada.We saw it while camping in fort Langley,bc.Hope the weight police don't chime in on the old ford,lol.

It is kinda' difficult to tell from the photos... can I assume that truck is at least a 250? Maybe some of you old-Ford aficionados can perhaps provide the tell-tale signs.
Difference being that back in the day a half ton was stronger and could handle what todays 1 ton does. My old dad pulled a case backhoe around on a trailer behind a 78 half ton chevy for years. He had a 6 cylinder 3 speed on the column, And we still have the truck, and it will still pull it!
