Onan Generator
Do you have an Onan generator in your TC? Are you happy with it? How much maintenance is required? How noisy is it?

We have the camp power 2500. We use it when necessary but it is noisy. Unlike markowwes, I don't notice any excess vibration.
I compared it to a neighboring campers 3000 Yamaha. I don't think it was much louder but it had a bit higher frequency sound. A friend put an additional muffler on his and brought the pitch down a bit.
We installed solar this spring so on the last 2 trips only used the generator for a few minutes after stopping to bring the heat down in the camper and to run the microwave.
