Ditto. The original comment really made no sense from a logical perspective.
Running two heat sources to heat up the water is not going to prevent you from running out of hot water.
It kind of does. The hotter you get the water, the less of it you mix in with the cold during your shower, so you effectively get more hot water capacity.
Two heat sources heat it up faster and help keep it from going totally cold as quick.
