Hum, my sister is in the horse business. Nothing less than a F350 dually. All the horse people I know drive Ford Diesels, even if I would never own one. That's in Ohio.
Here in NW Indiana, it's Ford country. Our parking lots at the different facilities of my company always have the largest numbers of Fords, with Chevy/GMs about half that with 1 or 2 Ram. Dodge is not very popular with Ford being the most popular.
I agree, I would never own a 6.0L or 6.4L, but my sister has and never had problems. She does go through a lot of transmissions though even with her F450. Her trailer is huge. If it weren't for the excessive expense of using her previous L8000 Ford Semi to tow it, it would still be the vehicle of choice.
