I was researching mini-car engines coming out of Asia and found the designs are shared, borrowed and stolen so much that strange combinations of parts will actually fit each other from different manufacturers that span the globe.
The auto industry is the family tree that doesn't branch. It may explain some of the decisions they have made in the past.
Maybe enlighten us with a couple of links for your claims. I mean seriously, Cummins part of Isuzu? Next thing you'll tell me is the speaker of the house is actually the presidents best friend :R
