Wow - I've never heard of anything above 300 lbs. And although mine is rated at 300 lbs, I wouldn't want to sleep below someone that weighed that much. :E
Years ago I had to strengthen the frame of my lower bunk because a friend who was 300+ lbs came with me when we camped in the infield of a NASCAR race. I could just picture him crashing through the bunk on to the water heater and tank in the middle of the night.
