Opnions on slide in or pop up on Toyota Tundra DBL Cab 4x4
If you do which unit and how does it handle. What mod's on the truck suspension etc. I really do not want a 3/4 or 1 ton.:) Thanks.

For ten years, we carried a 2004 Phoenix Little Chief popup (1000-lb dry) on a 2003 std-cab, long-bed, 6-cyl, stick-shift, 2-wd Tundra. It drove and handled like a dream--far better than our present rig, a 2002, 10-2 Northern Lite on a 2002 Dodge dually. The only modification to the Tundra was air bags. Because it was a std cab, longbed, the weight distribution was better than yours would be with a similar camper.
