Options for black tank flushing?

One extra thing you might do to help.....on a weekend or extended weekend when we know the black tank is not full, I'm especially generous with clean-up water and add a large amount to the black tank. Many folks don't dump after just a short trip, but DH is one to dump every trip. This additional water helps to not only dilute, but between the site and the dump station gets a bit of sloshing time. The clear connector is a huge help, even with the Tornado. If you know for sure that there's more in the tank than comes out, DH closes the black tank lever and lets it fill as well as cleaning the sides. Usually we get a surprise when we dump the second time. Before anyone fusses for taking so long at the dump station, we never do this if someone is waiting...just dump and go. Be sure to add a generous (3 - 5 gallons) amount of water and fresh chemicals as soon as you're done dumping. Any solids will be concrete if you let it be.
