Yes and probably contaminating every campground water supply that you hooked up to with a hose connected to a poop tank. In most states it is now code to have one on every outside faucet. So this doesn't happen.
I like to think that when I left, that I didn't harm anyone or contaminated the water supply that I was hooked up to.
I have been doing this for more that 25 years.Using the same method.
