It might be hard to tell how much difference the gears make when you are going from 400 hp, 800 ft/lbs to 440 horsepower and 925 ft/lbs.
All together it should be a very noticeable difference.
I'm hopping the difference is in the get up and go from a dead stop, that's the only area that I felt the 3.31 gears maybe held me back a little, like when you leave a toll booth that merges into only a few lanes, otherwise it was great in the hills and merging was good too.
