I wouldn't worry that much about the CCC - what some people with much larger trailers don't seem to realize is that small trailers also have less storage space. :)
Just don't go overboard with super heavy pots and the like and it'll be fine.
I'm careful and pack super light (titanium backpacking gear, aluminum instead of steel chairs, etc) but my cargo without clothing weighs in at about 175 lbs. Almost a quarter of that is my toolbox. I'd expect normal gear to weigh maybe half-again that.
The big thing to watch out for is water weight (including soda, milk, other beverages, frozen/prepared foods). Don't carry much water in any form and it'll be fine.
