Ordred a Jayco X17Z

I ordered a Jayco X17Z site unseen as no dealers nearby with this model in stock. Seems to have all we need for just two of us.

Anyone familiar with this camper, appreciate comments and / or suggestions etc.

Putting together my list of what I need and what I need to do in preparation for our first outing this spring.

Thanks All,
Rich M
  • hope you looked at the carrying capacity of that hybrid.
many don't do enough research, only to find that it has a very low CCC amount. This is common on these 3500lbs. GVWR hybrids.
suggest you get the yellow sticker weight and subtract that from the trailer's GVWR.
I don't think you'll be pleased with how little is left over for cargo, propane, battery and water.
  • Congrats on your new trailer!

I got the X20E, I would suggest keeping an eye on your exterior seams, bunk ends, roof etc, I've had to re-caulk mine a few times.

  • Dry weight of only 2785. Nice. Now it's like an 8 year old waiting for Christmas.:)
