Oregon Coast what is your must see???

Fort Stevens and Astoria should get a couple days. Tillamook Air Museum if still there and the cheese factory. Lincoln City and Devil's Lake State Park. Haceta Head Light House and the little State Park just north of there are nice. Newport has the big aquariums. Waldport for a drive by and a snack. I like Beverly Beach but it's popular. Has WIFI. Beach access and go north along the shore and see the ancient 20 million year fossil beach. Also the giant tree remains on the way to the beach. Florence is pretty nice with lots of places to stay. There's a USFS site north and west of town straight in from where the river meets the ocean. There is one campsite with a spectacular view but good luck on getting it during high season. Honeyman SP is nice too. We have stayed at the Port of Siuslaw Florence right in the old down town which is very handy and reasonable but luck is required in the high season again. And lastly is a little gem of a USFS park we came across and just loved. See image.

This is west of Dunes City which is between Florence and Coos Bay. Beautiful park and nice hiking. Nice scenery and lots of birds and critters.

Tidal pools. You need to check when tide is out or in. Google can help. As mentioned, Haystack Rock at Canon Beach and our favorite is Ecola State Park for the beach and tidal pools.

Make reservations now! All RV parks, state parks, etc. Do up fast.

now here is a secret just between you and me. Do not tell anyone else. But if you call state parks that have no more RV sites available you can ask if you can camp with an RV on a tent site. it will be a dry site, no services, but that is okay because it is so nice at the Oregon coast.

Sea Lions in Downtown Newport. Tide pools at Haystack Rock at low tide. Town of Bandon, Crabbing, The entire coast is beautiful.

You can't go wrong with most stops on the Oregon Coast but, Devils Punch Bowl State Park is a favorite of mine. Google it for details. If you make up to Astoria, experiencing a clamming tide on Long Beach, Washington is impressive! The sheer number of web foots out digging for the bivalve molluscs is shocking.

Love the Barview Jetty campground in Rockaway,but you can't go wrong on the Oregon coast.

Bandon....old town Bandon is a blast now. The little blue building in the middle (you'll see it) has the BEST fried shrimp in the country. :) :) A nice stroll thru the town is a must do. :)

And Shore Acres State Park near Coos Bay is really pretty neat. Right now, flowers will be blooming...however, EVERY season they have something going on. (my goal -- Christmas lights there).

Other than that......just enjoy the coast. :) LOTS of Kodak moments there.

Light houses. Salmon Harbor RV park at Winchester Bay. Fantastic views directly west. Actually all of 101 offers good scenery. Maybe Sea Lion Caves. Dont forget Shore Acres State Park near Coos Bay.
