I've read some people posting that they have seen delivery drivers driving at around 75-80 mph on freeways in the eastern US. I don't doubt for a minute that the drivers do tow a lot above 65mph. Why wouldn't they if they're paid by the mile, not by time?
Anyway, my original point was that I believe that there are other factors besides speed and PSI that lead to tire failures.
skipnchar appears to understand the issue of frame & suspension flex causing stress to the tires. There does not seem to be much discussion on this anywhere or study into it. I am planning to tie our spring hangers together with a cross-member to reduce movement. Mor/Ryde makes a cross-member for this application. It would be interesting to see someone mount a camera under the TT and see what actually happens while towing.
