Other reasons ST tires fail??
There have been soooo many threads and posts on ST tires here about what the best one is and why they fail sometimes. I was just reading one of those "threads from heck" - ST tire thread from heck......

My ST tires lasted 6+ years and were warranted for 5 years. The tread wear was warranted much like every tire is and there is no suggestion to replace after 5-12k miles. Sometimes you have to take some responsibility on where you spend your money. My tire dealer and my tire maker make no such stupid suggestions.
