Other reasons ST tires fail??
There have been soooo many threads and posts on ST tires here about what the best one is and why they fail sometimes. I was just reading one of those "threads from heck" - ST tire thread from heck......

It has LT tires on it. I replace then when the tread is gone. And they last much longer than 5-12K.
Yes, but the sidewall construction of ST tires is different. They can't withstand the same sidewall abuse as LT tires. Not everyone wants to or can change to LT tires.
