Other than power, what is 2500 advantage over 1500?
Semi loaded question - I know...
I'm pulling a (max wt 6900) travel trailer with a Ram 1500 - I've pulled about 1000 miles or so and feel like I have plenty of HP/torque/brakes - but it's not the most comfortable pulling. Lots of wiggle, rear of truck is squatted A LOT, etc.
So, outside of the power advantage a 2500 would give me, what else makes a 3/4 or 1 ton better for pulling a heavy trailer? Without getting into the 5th wheel stuff - just purely for pulling travel trailers.
Is it basically just having a heavier truck makes it more stable?
