Yes! That has always been my philosophy. Buy the best we can afford at the outset as it will save a lot of money and heartaches selling and repurchasing. When we started our photography biz we just jumped in and bought the best lenses made, as it is all about the lenses. A lot of people start with inexpensive lenses and work up...which to me the long run...winds up being more costly
