Absolutely right on no place for an office in the 2604WS. Many of the 5er's have a desk arrangement already included in the layout. Sounds like your thought of extended/full timing is moving to the top of the list. Suggest you do as much online shopping as possible. Make yourself a must have list, a maybe list and a list for doesn't matter. Make the assumption that you are going forward with these possible plans and buy with that in mind. I would think you should be able to find something just a few years old in great condition and be in your projected budget. Good luck and happy shopping.
