Has anyone purchased their camper in another state and had it delivered? We're going to fly down and check the camper out prior to purchase but due to time constraints I think we'll have it delivered. Aside from proper insurance, is there anything I should be thinking of?Thanks

If you buy a camper from a state other than the one you live in and they deliver it in another state than the one they sold it in, you don't have to pay the seller's state sales tax. For example; In my case, I live in California. I buy a camper in Arizona. I have them deliver it to me across the border in California, so I didn't pay Arizona sales tax. Since California does not title campers, I didn't pay California sales tax.

I bought from Toms in 2008 they charged $500 to deliver it to the California border paid no tax till I brought it home to Canada then Big Time Tax

We dealt with Tom's 2 1/2 years ago on a purchase of a used Lance 830. We took delivery in California. They were very upfront about the entire process and I would certainly buy from them again.
