Lately we've been utilizing our fridge in the outdoor kitchen for drinks. We plug it in and get it cold and load it up before leaving. The problem is once we get there the door is open and drinks are falling out. And more importantly the "mountains" are no longer blue :( I tried the bars from the inside fridge but they don't fit. I tried a bungee aroun the bottom of the door and that didn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mine has a strap that holds it in place and keeps the door closed.

I recently install a home refer in my MH and here is my solution for holding the doors closed.

Masking tape.Unless the front panel is fake woodgrain cardboard. Maybe a velcro strap ?I got a 12' roll when I got my C and have used half of it already.

I put a foam kneeling pad for gardening on top of the fridge, sticking halfway out in the open. When I close the overhead door, it bends the foam pad down and squishes it between the fridge and the kitchen door. When I open the kitchen up at the campground, the pad falls out but the door is secure.

I use a velcro strap and the bars on the inside. Works pretty well.

Ah yes. The problems of keeping this secure 10ft behind the axles! I would think a decent ratcheting strap should work.

I'm fortunate that our KZ outdoor fridge sits in a recess that allowed me to add a latch on the cabinet face and drill a small pilot hole on the fridge door for the bolt to enter. The bolt hole is outside the door seal.

My first one had a strap that was attached to the back wall on each side. My current one did not have anything so I am using Velcro. I put Velcro on the side and on the door in two places. I then cut multiple pieces and stuck them back to back. These pieces then attach to the door and the side and keep the door closed nicely.

I use Velcro. I used the sticky loop part stuck to side and door then the hook part between the two to hold it shut.

When I had mine on my last trailer, I screwed eye hooks in the wood on each side then got a bungee that fit tight enough to keep it closed
