People were having a fire in the afternoon!
How shocking! The horror!
What were they thinking?
Perhaps they thought they were camping?
And all this happened at a Jellystone Camp? During a weekend and with a "special event" scheduled? Isn't that a campground themed around a Yogi Bear cartoon? Wouldn't we expect there to be a lot of 30-something parents with young kids?
I think the families cooking at their outdoor kitchens and having an afternoon fire have a much more legitimate cause to complain about an old curmudgeon in their midst, casting a pall on the festivities with his sour demeanor.
And this is the first time I have ever heard someone complain about other campers putting out their awnings. There has been discussion of people having them up in windstorms...put simply putting them out is somehow offensive?
It is amazing how much someone can interpret from a simple observation and question. You must have a hard time in life. I was just giving an observation not a complaint. Heck we normally are not in with the weekenders as we go to places they normally do not go in the winter. As for the park THIS IS MARYLAND you are lucky to find any part open beyond Nov 1 or before mid April. Not to mention our trailer is 40'. I was wondering about the outside kitchens, we see no use in our world as we cook on a weber q normally and don't mind cooking in our unit as it is the same as at home.
