My vote for the best post so far.
I guess I can finalize this by saying the With my daughter in Maryland we normally stop on Nov 1st and then after our travels we stop again in early April. As stated I hate this park but it is one of the very few places for our unit. We normally incur zero people there when we stop (as other over nighters and those that, like us are using this strictly as a holding zone.
I have no problem with campers with kids but did run into a load of them that 3 day stench. We normally leave early AM and return about 9 PM, so we didn't even see the kids until Sunday when we got out later.
I guess my comments were interrupted quite a few different ways. But my main interest was in the outside kitchen and if the loss of interior space was worth it. We wouldn't use one as we need all the room we can get for our own comfort inside. When we set up it is on our lot for a few months, so yes we put out our awning sometimes and also have our Gazebo to hang out in if the weather is to hot or rainy.
We have gone from a pop up in the 70s to our current unit, yes we were 30 once and camped where there were not any of nicitys at all. That was then this is now. The use of our unit about 6 1/2 months each year is far different then weekenders and I thought it amusing.
