My RV has cabinet lighting, but I seldom remember to turn on the switch before leaving the drivers seat. I carry a small florescent flashlight to give area lighting when I unhook or use the utilities in darker campgrounds. If you really want a spot/floodlight, I just installed a solar light on the home shed, purchased at Costco for $25. It is fully weatherproof, has a approx. 5x5 solar array, and a very bright LED lamp, with a motion activation. The solar panel could be mounted on the roof and the lamp could mount to the tow assembly or even on the roof. Just a thought.
