- tjw0099ExplorerI didn't see any wood rot.
I purchased a 4" lag hex head screw and it pulled it in tight.
Took some clear caulk and redid the seam and it's water tight.
Thanks! - MFLNomad II

More than likely you have some rot in that area and the trim is pulling out of the wood, you can try a longer screw. It's probably going to require som replacement wood in that area.
I agree, if the wood behind is wet/rotted, you will have to replace it. You should be able to inspect it from that baggage door.
If the wood is not too bad, and dry, you could use small stove bolts through the trim, and add washer and nut behind the wood, to help hold.
You may need to add new butyl tape first, to help seal, prior to tightening trim down. Once everything is fitting right, fastened tight, you could use Proflex sealant along the edge, sealing the trim to siding.
Good luck,

Help.
Tom - MFLNomad IIIf not a picture Tom, maybe a little better description will get more response.
Is it the plastic trim, maybe the fiberglass?
