I have marine speakers in my boat, but would not want to trust that type of speaker to not become punctured and then leak. I was thinking of other options, run wires and just plug speakers in, but the external option was very clean. thanks JR
I would also be interested in doing this to our 02 Lance 1030. We have an awning on the side. We like to sit under it and relax and it would be nice be able to listen to some music (of course we wouldn't be playing it loudly).
PPL motorhomes website list a few outdoor speakers for RV's and claim they are water proof. I wonder if it's as simple as cutting a 5" dia hole and mounting these with a little sealant around the top?
