I've had two different suburban oven's and never had a problem with them not staying lit. I would call suburban and they may tell ya how to clean it out and fix the problem.

I hope it is as simple as a cleaning of something or the other in the oven but something tells me that more will be involved. This is a known issue and it is usually not solved by a cleaning from wht I have read.
  • I've got a similar issue and I believe it's the thermocouple.

My RV is going into the dealership Friday next week for the same problem. Once the pilot is lit and the oven comes up to set temperature it starts to make a soft popping sound as if it is starving for propane and then it goes out and the pilot has to be re-lit, etc. This happens over and over and was like this from day one.

The other issue this POS had was the right front burner became loose from the front panel all by itself. Tried lighting it one night and if would not light and that was the reason. At least that case I took the top off, disassembled all the burners which were all 'rattly', adjusted the tin brackets and then reassembled the burners. All tight now and all good.

Some quality control. Might as well be made in a certain Pacific country. Hey but the stove looks good. ;)

The Atwood stove I had in my previous RV had ZERO problems in the 3 years I had it.
